It has a stylish and no-frills design. The intelligent upgrades immediately attract the attention of the beholder: The more rigid hollow axles (patent pending) convince with less weight. The wide, ribbed nuts ensure a better grip and are also gentler on the rock. The new 12 mm long Dyneema sling is flexible and can be easily extended. For this reason, the Friend does not have to be used together with an quickdraw every time.
The inner construction convinces with the classic design of Wild Country. The holding power and consistency of the overlapping units is already well known and thanks to the dual axis we have been able to increase the range per unit.
The Friend has never been judged on its construction, only on its performance. The cult product now also has a version with a double axle.
