Salewa Ergo Belay System - The Erogo Belay System is a belay device based on the Tuber principle, which is independent of manual strength thanks to its blocking function. Thus, in the event of a fall, the Ergo BS offers increased safety compared to other belay devices. At the same time, it offers more efficiency and smooth handling when belaying a lead climber. The unique ergonomic design means that it is not necessary to change your grip in any situation and that the braking hand principle is never violated. When lowering, the speed can be easily dosed. The simple, intuitive operation avoids errors and the functional principle is designed in such a way that even in the event of incorrect operation, there is no total failure.
