Stop-and-go children often complain that they are in one It's too cold one minute and too hot the next... Does that sound familiar? Intense physical activity followed by periods of rest can put you at risk of hypothermia. Salewa's Thermo-Regulating Ortles Hybrid Jacket was developed to meet the specific insulation needs in the upper body that children have during high-dynamic activities on colder days.
Hybrid Insulation: The light TirolWool® responsive insulation combines innovative, with thermo-reactive minerals enriched polyester fibers with wool from Tyrolean sheep. The heat emitted by the body is absorbed and converted into infrared energy, which is stored and reflected - so you stay warmer for longer. In addition, TirolWool® responsive is water-repellent, breathable and keeps children warm even when their jacket is soaking wet.
PFC-free: The jacket has two zipped pockets on the sides and a breast pocket, also with a zip. The insulated hood offers the child additional protection and the PFC-free DWR coating (durable water repellent) makes the jacket particularly weatherproof.
