The 3-antenna device is equipped with the patented Smart-Antenna technology, which analyzes the position of the device in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. This gives you up to twice the range and you will be found faster.
In addition to the premium avalanche transceiver DIRACT VOICE, the DIRACT offers
no voice navigation, but acoustic and visual support for rough and Fine search.
Thanks to its reduced, logical design, the DIRACT is particularly easy and intuitive to use, because a single button allows you to quickly mark buried subjects or switch to standby mode. The post-avalanche protection automatically switches from search and standby mode to transmit mode to guarantee full protection for those searching. Even in extreme lighting conditions, the fully graphic, extra-large display is easy to read and, thanks to clear instructions and 360° real-time display, ensures intuitive user guidance in stressful situations safe in the glove and fits comfortably in the trouser pocket when it is not in the carrying system with quick access, which automatically pushes out the avalanche transceiver as soon as the buckle is opened. This means that the DIRACT is always quickly and safely at hand and immediately ready for use. As a back-up, the RECCO® reflector integrated into the carrying system offers an additional chance to be found more easily.
The DIRACT has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is particularly durable and environmentally friendly. Even at -20°C, the battery provides reliable energy and cannot leak.
