Reliable protection: The Alp Trainer 2 is a progressive hiking shoe with a mid-height shaft, a robust, high-quality suede and stretch upper and a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining that reliably protects you on different terrain and in changeable conditions. A generous rubber edge provides additional protection from rock edges and debris.
Adaptable and comfortable: The shoe offers a precise fit, securely encloses your foot, gives it support and is comfortable the first time you put it on. Salewa's proprietary, patented 3F system contains a steel cable and ensures a firm hold on the ankle and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar gives the ankle more freedom of movement backwards and increases comfort when descending. In addition, with the adjustable Salewa® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), you can choose between different insoles and thus tailor the shoe volume to suit you. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for custom tightening down to the toes for better performance on technical terrain.
Improved grip and grip: The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, only offered by Salewa®, improves performance and control on a wide range of mountain terrain.
