Reliable protectionThe Alp Trainer 2 is a modern hiking shoe with a mid-height shaft that reliably protects you on long hikes on rough terrain. It has a robust, high-quality suede upper with hard-wearing stretch inserts on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining. The generous rubber edge offers additional protection against rock edges and debris.
Comfort and support: The shoe was specially developed for women to take the special shape of the female foot into account. It has a precise fit, supports your foot and is comfortable the first time you put it on. Salewa's patented 3F system ensures a firm hold on the ankle and lateral stability on rough terrain, while the soft Flex Collar gives the ankle more freedom of movement and increases comfort downhill.
With the adjustable Salewa® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+ ) you can choose between different insoles and adjust the shoe volume to you. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for custom tightening to the toe.
Grip and Control: The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, offered only by Salewa®, improves performance and control on a wide range of mountain terrain.
Thanks to its special climbing, grip and braking zones, it also impresses in wet and muddy conditions.
