Salewa Wildfire Edge Mid GTX - The Wildfire Edge Mid Gore-Tex® model is a unique technical solution for alpinists, mountaineers and climbers who need an approach shoe with improved climbing performance.

The model is based on the intelligent and simple Salewa Switchfit system, which allows you to quickly change the fit for hiking or climbing thanks to compression in the toe area that is similar to that of hiking boots. Simply tighten the laces to pull your foot forward into the toe box. When you stop climbing, you can loosen the laces back to their original position for a wider toe box and more comfort when hiking.

For even more precision when climbing, the Wildfire Edge insole also includes an edging Plate under the lateral foot and big toe for added, directional stiffness. The rest of the insole, on the other hand, remains flexible and responsive to guarantee good comfort and a natural rolling movement.
