We craft the Wildfire 2 Shoe's upper from durable, recycled mesh and reinforce it with a mesh of Kevlar wires that wraps your foot in a comfortable and form-fitting manner, providing flexibility, enhanced stability and heel hold . In addition, the Wildfire 2 can be quickly and easily switched from hiking to climbing mode with the Salewa® Switchfit adjustment system. The result: Better performance on edges and when climbing and overall more security in technical terrain.
The Multi Fit Footbed plus (MFF+) also offers an individually adjustable footbed so that you can choose a narrower or further fit.
The Wildfire GTX is equipped with a Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort lining, which offers you waterproof and breathable protection, so that you can make good progress even in uncomfortable weather. The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a climbing zone in the toe area and strong, deep tread lugs for good traction in mud and soft ground, while S-Path technology supports the natural transition. The slightly sticky Pomoca rubber gives you good traction in both dry and wet conditions.
