Salewa Aqua PTX Kids Jacket - The Puez Aqua is a 2.5-layer hard shell jacket for children with a waterproof Powertex® membrane made from 57 percent recycled materials. The material is reliably waterproof and has a water column of 10,000 millimeters. The water column describes the pressure that is needed before water can penetrate through the substance. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable with 10,000 g/m²/24h: 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours - the jacket promises a pleasant body climate even during strenuous activities.
The design and the features of the Hardshell jackets are designed for full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: If it gets uncomfortable, the storm hood and elastic cuffs protect against cold, wet and wind. At the same time, the Puez Aqua is equipped with fully taped seams and waterproof zips to stay dry even in heavy rain. Small items such as nuts, bars or gloves can easily be accommodated in the two large side zip pockets, the reflective detail on the hood also ensures better visibility in bad weather.
To Salewa's high social and ecological requirements, the Salewa® Committed To match the collection, the Puez Aqua is made from recycled materials and has a PFC-free, durable water-repellent DWR coating.
