Fjällräven Gaiter Trousers No. 1 - are modern trekking pants for long outdoor adventures that can be worn all year round. The innovative gaiter function allows the trousers to be adapted to different weather and terrain conditions.
In warm weather, the lower part of the leg can be detached and the trousers can be turned into shorts, just like ordinary zip-off trousers . The detachable part has a cord adjustment at calf height, which, together with the boot hook at the hem, converts it into a gaiter, protecting the legs from undergrowth on any terrain.
In cooler weather, the trousers can be worn with long underwear to be worn underneath. Zippers on the thighs allow ventilation.
Three spacious leg pockets offer space for a map, compass and other things. In addition to the concealed shoe hook, the leg ends have eyelets for attaching shoelaces or steel brackets. This provides another way to fix the trouser leg and prevent stones, small twigs or snow from penetrating the shoe upper.
As with all Numbers garments, materials and details have been chosen in such a way that they have as little impact on the environment as possible burden - most of the leather details were made from leather waste, for example - and exposed parts can be easily replaced after years of use.
