The Mammut 9.5 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope is a revolutionary single rope for alpine climbing and mountaineering. It offers significantly increased cut resistance while meeting all the standards of a dynamic climbing rope. With the Core Protect Rope, the name says it all: In order to better protect the rope from sharp rock and metal edges, there is an extra aramid sheath between the polyamide outer sheath and the polyamide core.

In the event of a fall, this aramid sheath unfolds thanks to its extra-long construction, whereby the rope remains just as dynamic as any other Mammut rope. Handling and abrasion resistance remain unchanged, but cut resistance increases significantly.
