The Alpina Prolan Vest is the protector vest for everyone who rides a lot and rides fast – on the piste, in the park and off the beaten track. It sits close to the body, hardly adds bulk and disappears under your ski jacket without restricting your freedom of movement. The cut is tailored to the male figure.
What makes the PROLAN protector special is the material: instead of viscoelastic foam, Alpina uses multi-layer plates of pressed European sheep's wool. Wool damps independently of temperature – the protector doesn't stiffen even in double-digit sub-zero cold, while foam protectors get noticeably harder. On top of that, the natural moisture management of wool makes sweating under your jacket far more pleasant. The vest is certified to EN 1621-2:2014 level 1 as a full back protector.
