The Alpina Granby 2 QV is a ski goggle for everyone who wants to see as much as possible: the large lens in a frameless design opens up a wide field of view and shows you terrain, edges and bumps early. The Granby line was originally developed for powder and feels at home freeriding just as much as on groomed pistes – on skis or on a snowboard. This version is cut for medium face sizes.
The QuattroVarioflex lens combines two technologies: Quattroflex enhances contrast and filters out distracting scattered light, while Varioflex automatically tints the lens lighter or darker depending on how much light hits it. A single lens therefore covers everything from overcast skies to bright sunshine (filter category S2–S3) – no lens swapping required. The lens is built as a shatterproof double lens made of polycarbonate whose insulating air chamber slows fogging from the inside. This is backed up by the Fogstop coating on the inner surface and by vents at the sides and along the bottom edge that keep air moving constantly. The flexible comfort frame made of thermoplastic polyurethane follows the contours of your face, the foam padding cushions softly, and the silicone strips on the inside of the strap keep the goggle from slipping on your ski helmet.
