KV+ Tornado Pink Poles

A racing pole with attitude: the KV+ Tornado Pink combines a 100% carbon shaft with the unmistakable white and pink look of the KV+ Pink Ribbon line.

The shaft measures 16.5 mm at the top and 8.5 mm at the bottom and is made entirely of carbon – stiff enough for hard pole plants at race pace and still light in the swing. Whether skating or classic, the pole stands firm the moment it hits the snow and gives you the direct feel you expect from a competition model.

The Falcon Clip grip made of thermo cork places the strap's fixing point in line with the shaft axis so your pressure reaches the tip without detours. The Elite Clip strap in size M/L with a pink edge clicks out and back in within a second – ideal if you often need your hands free during training.

The baskets sit in the QCD quick-change system: a small Tornado racing basket (8.5 mm) for groomed tracks, and if you want, a large basket for soft snow or a roller ski ferrule for summer training – changed without any tools. Available from 130 to 180 cm in 2.5 cm steps.

Cross Country Pole Length Information

Classic: Height x 0.85, for competitions x 0.83 (poles must reach under the armpits).
Nordic Cruiser: Like classic cross-country skiing, minus 5 centimetres.
Skating: Body height x 0.9 (poles should reach under the chin).
Roller skiing: As in skating, plus the standing height of the roller skis.
