Black Diamond Slinger Leash - The Black Diamond Slinger Leash is a simple and lightweight variant of Black Diamond's popular spinner leash for use with an ice ax. This elastic system prevents the ice ax from falling, but does not attach the ax to the wrist. Black Diamond has equipped this leash with a locking carabiner so that it can be attached even more securely to the head or tip of an ice ax. The elastic webbing has been lengthened and instead of nylon, a polyester webbing is used that absorbs less water.
