Crampons are an absolute must for your own safety on steep, icy carrying passages and technical summit storms. Of course, athletes don't want to carry a gram too much with them in order to be as fast and efficient as possible.
The ten-pointed and fully automatic Mezzalama hybrid crampon is the first choice if you want to aim high. It complies with the ISMF regulations and combines the best of two worlds in terms of material: the front part is made of robust steel, while the rear part is made of lightweight aluminium. As a result, the crampons are also suitable for use in mixed terrain or on rocks and are still extremely light. Particularly practical: there is no difference between left and right, so you don't have to think twice. The adjustment to the respective sole length (260 to 333 mm) is done in a flash without any tools. The crampons can be attached to touring ski boots in no time at all and guarantee a perfect fit without play and a secure hold on ice, blown snow and icy rocks. An anti-stole plate on the underside of the front part prevents annoying lug formation. The Mezzalama crampon is available as standard in the fully automatic version, but if necessary it can be quickly and easily converted to semi-automatic with a basket for front attachment. The scope of delivery includes a practical hard case to transport the crampons well protected.
